Green travel means travelling using low-emission means of transport, such as trains, buses, bicycles, or carpooling, instead of relying on more carbon-intensive options such as air travel.<br \/>Choosing sustainable transport <b>helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the environmental impact<\/b> of international mobility. It can also make travelling a more enriching experience, allowing students to discover new places and connect with people along the way.<br \/><b>How does green travel affect Erasmus+ funding?<br \/><\/b><br \/><\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\"><b>A higher travel grant<\/b><span class=\"gmail_default\"><b>. <\/b>T<\/span>he Erasmus+ travel contribution is generally higher for green travel than for non-green travel on eligible distance bands. The amount is calculated using the European Commission&#8217;s Erasmus+ Distance Calculator and depends on the distance between the place of origin and the destination.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif;\"><b>Additional travel days<span class=\"gmail_default\">.<\/span><\/b> Participants using green travel may receive individual support for up to 6 travel days, compared with up to 2 travel days for participants not using green travel, where necessary and eligible under the applicable funding rules. A significant part of your lessons will be held there for your convenience.<\/li><li>Biogradn a Moru: This campus usually hosts an international summer school organized by the University of Applied Sciences \u201cBaltazar Zapre\u0161i\u0107\u201d in partnership with GEA College, Slovenia.<\/li><li>Osijek: Our fourth campus is located in the east of Croatia. You don&#8217;t need to travel there since all the courses offered to Erasmus students are taught in Zapre\u0161i\u0107 or
