The mission of the Baltazar Zapre\u0161i\u0107 Polytechnic is to provide quality education and support to students in their career development and to promote new knowledge through market-oriented study programs. In cooperation with the economy, the Polytechnic enables students to actively participate in the labor market and connects students and the business community. The Polytechnic encourages the development of creative individuals capable of managing business processes that will contribute to the sustainable development of society as a whole.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The starting point of the strategic development orientation of the Polytechnic is the vision, mission and core organizational values. The strategy and strategic development goals are primarily harmonized with the following documents: (1) The Strategy of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Croatia; (2) Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG).<\/p>

The basic objectives of the Polytechnic defined through the Strategic Development Plan for the period from 2021 to 2026 relate to:<\/p>

  • develop a proactive approach in the application of theoretical and empirical achievements to improve business processes<\/li>
  • to create an atmosphere of ethics, transparency and responsible work for the purpose of achieving long-term sustainable business<\/li><\/ul>
    • continuously strive for excellence by providing support for the personal and professional growth and development of all employees and students of the University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zapre\u0161i\u0107<\/li><\/ul>

      The Polytechnic bases its operations on the following organizational values:<\/p>

      • quality and striving for excellence and comparison with international quality standards and striving for international accreditation<\/li>
      • the creativity of the students and teachers of the University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zapre\u0161i\u0107 is based on scientific achievements and applied research as well as on the changes and knowledge of modern society, but also of the concrete community in which we operate<\/li>
      • freedom of academic expression and creative activity in civilizational and humanistic frameworks<\/li>
      • autonomy and independence from any influence of politics, religion, ideology and capital<\/li>
      • openness to all changes in the implementation of the program and to other ideas, constructive criticism and alternative conceptions, through encouraging the creative and innovative potential of the institution and environment<\/li>
      • openness to cooperation with other Croatian and foreign universities on joint projects<\/li><\/ul>
