Graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, majoring in Marketing – Management, where he also completed post-graduate studies, majoring in Entrepreneurship, and received his doctorate on the subject of “Management of food product brands”.
Since 2013, Baltazar Zaprešić has been permanently employed at the Polytechnic. Among other things, the professional experience of Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Ružića has held various management positions, such as deputy director of packaging sales at Belišće d.d., director of the commercial sector at Kutjevo d.d., member of the board at Kutjevo d.d., member of the supervisory board at Đakovacki vinim d.d., sales director at Agrokor vinim and sales director at Belje d.d.
As head of the Consultative Center in Osijek, he greatly contributed to the development and positioning of the Polytechnic in the region of Eastern Croatia. In February 2020, Associate Prof. Ph.D. Ružić assumed the position of vice dean for teaching, students, finance and business, and in July of the same year he assumed the position of acting dean. In January 2021, the Council will confirm him as the new dean of the Polytechnic for a mandate period of four years.
At the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Management in Tourism and Hospitality, he earned a degree in economics. In 2010, he completed his post-graduate scientific master’s degree in the field of economics at the same University. He has been gaining work experience since 2000; first as an entrepreneur, he runs his own company for trade and services, where he was employed until 2006, when he was employed at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, where, after two years of service, he obtained the title of junior diplomat – attaché.
As a member of the Secretariat of the negotiating group, he works on accession negotiations between the Republic of Croatia and the EU with a focus on statistical monitoring of the fulfillment of economic criteria by the Republic of Croatia.
Istovremeno je član radne skupine za izradu Pretpristupnog ekonomskog programa RH. Na Veleučilištu Baltazar Zaprešić zaposlen je od 2011. godine gdje od početka aktivno sudjeluje u nastavnom procesu, trenutno u zvanju višeg predavača. Obnašao je funkciju voditelja studijskog usmjerenja Poslovna ekonomija i financije, dok trenutno obnaša funkciju prodekana za nastavu i studente.
He is the author or co-author of several scientific or expert articles in the field of economics with a narrower interest in quantitative economics and the economics of entrepreneurship.
Dr. Ivana Lacković, Ph.D. in Sociology, Professor of Professional Studies, graduated in 2013 from the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek – Faculty of Economics in Osijek, completing the Postgraduate Specialist Study Program “Marketing in Specific Areas” with top grades. In 2023, she completed the Doctoral Study in “Management” at the same university, earning the title of Doctor of Science in the field of social sciences, specializing in economics. She is a member of CROMAR, the Croatian Marketing Association. As of May 2024, she is a member of the Committee for International Cooperation of the Council of Croatian Polytechnics and Colleges.
At her home institution, she has held the following positions: Head of the Department of Marketing and Tourism (2016), Deputy Head of the Department of Economics, Management, and Marketing (2019–2020), Head of the Business Economics and Finance Track in the Undergraduate Study Program in Business and Management (2020), Head of the Department of Marketing and Communications (2020–2021), Head of the Polytechnic Department of Specialist Graduate Professional Studies (2021–2023), and Head of the Professional Graduate Program in Project Management in Zaprešić (2023–2024). Since March 2024, she has been serving as the Assistant Dean for Professional Undergraduate Studies and International Cooperation.
Dr. Lana Domšić, Ph.D., Professor of Professional Studies, graduated in Art History, Museology, and Spanish Language and Literature. She later completed a specialized master’s degree in Cultural Management at Carlos III University in Madrid.
She has worked in cultural institutions in Croatia, Spain, Italy, and Chile. She earned her doctorate in Information and Communication Sciences at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb.
In addition to professional and scientific articles, she has authored several strategic and implementation plans for the interpretation and tourism valorization of heritage.
She teaches courses related to heritage management, cultural tourism, cultural and creative industries, and visual communications.
He graduated in 2014 from the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek – Faculty of Economics in Osijek, completing the Postgraduate Specialist Study Program “Marketing in Specific Areas.”
He gained work experience in the private sector and has been employed at the Baltazar Zaprešić Polytechnic since April 2010. As the Head of the Student Services Office since 2012, he acquired significant managerial experience. In 2022, he was appointed Assistant Dean for Administrative and Accounting Affairs.
Through his work, leadership experience, and dedication, he contributes to the development and recognition of the Polytechnic.
Nina Nemčić, Univ. Mag. Iur., graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb. She gained work experience at the Ministry of Finance, and after passing the state professional exam and judicial exam, she worked at the Municipal Court in Zaprešić. She has been employed at the Baltazar Zaprešić Polytechnic since 2011, and before taking on the role of Secretary General, she was the Head of Legal Affairs.
Since April 2021, she has been a member of the Committee for Legal Affairs of the Council of Polytechnics and Colleges.
