We recommend that you arrive a few days before the beginning of the semester so that you have enough time to get familiar with the new environment.
To provide you with all the important information and get to know each other better during the first week of the semester, the Erasmus welcome day will be organized. Further information about this you will receive via email closer to the event.
The University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zaprešić encourages students participating in the Erasmus+ programme to choose environmentally friendly travel options whenever possible. Green travel means travelling using low-emission means of transport, such as trains, buses, bicycles, or carpooling, instead of relying on more carbon-intensive options such as air travel.
Choosing sustainable transport helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the environmental impact of international mobility. It can also make travelling a more enriching experience, allowing students to discover new places and connect with people along the way.
How does green travel affect Erasmus+ funding?
Green travel funding is subject to the rules of the relevant Erasmus+ project, and the exact grant amounts and eligible travel days should be confirmed with the university’s Erasmus+ coordinator.
Every journey is an opportunity to make a difference. Choose green travel whenever possible and contribute to a more sustainable Erasmus+ experience!
