Mission and vision

The strategic development plan of the Public Polytechnic Baltazar Zaprešić from Zaprešić for the period from 2021 to 2026 was adopted at the 154th session of the Governing Council of the Public Polytechnic Baltazar Zaprešić from Zaprešić, held on November 23, 2020 (reg. number: 328- 05/2-2020, from November 23, 2020).

Vision:

The vision of the University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zaprešić is to become an advanced university with recognizable educational programs that empower students for a changing and unpredictable business environment.

Mission:

The mission of the University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zapresic is to provide high-quality education and support to students in the development of their careers, while promoting new knowledge through market-oriented study programs. In collaboration with the business community, the Polytechnic enables students to actively engage in the labor market and connects students with the business sector. The Polytechnic encourages the development of creative individuals capable of managing business processes who will contribute to the sustainable development of society as a whole.

Goals:
  • develop a proactive approach in the application of theoretical and empirical achievements to improve business processes
  • to create an atmosphere of ethics, transparency and responsible work for the purpose of achieving long-term sustainable business
  • continuously strive for excellence by providing support for the personal and professional growth and development of all employees and students of the University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zaprešić
Organizational values:

The educational and research activity of the University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zaprešić will be based on the following organizational values:

  • quality and striving for excellence and comparison with international quality standards and striving for international accreditation
  • the creativity of the students and teachers of the University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zaprešić is based on scientific achievements and applied research as well as on the changes and knowledge of modern society, but also of the concrete community in which we operate
  • freedom of academic expression and creative activity in civilizational and humanistic frameworks
