Baltazar Zaprešić Polytechnic has been offering online classes in professional undergraduate and graduate studies since the 2023/2024 academic year!
The Erasmus+ program enables the exchange of employees of the Baltazar Polytechnic for teaching or training purposes.
Within the framework of this program, in the case of mobility with program countries, which is financed through Erasmus+ funds, and within the framework of the competition announced by the Polytechnic, there is the possibility of hosting foreign experts who are not employees of higher education institutions for the purpose of teaching at the Polytechnic.
Mobility for the purpose of teaching can be achieved at foreign higher education institutions with which Baltazar Polytechnic has signed an Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement in programme and partner countries. You can find a list of signed Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreements here: Programme countries (KA103/131) – Partner countries (KA107/171). Also, for mobility for the purpose of training, an Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement is not necessary for mobility in Programme countries if the mobility is carried out at institutions that do not have the status of a higher education institution. When finding suitable training offers, the IMOTION online platform intended for staff of higher education institutions is of great help.
Staff have the opportunity to teach at a partner higher education institution provided that they deliver at least 8 hours of teaching per week (or 4 hours in the case of combining mobility for the purpose of teaching and training with the development of pedagogical skills) or attend training courses, all lasting from 2 days to 2 months for programme countries (KA103/131) and from 5 days to 2 months for partner countries (KA107/171).
Erasmus+ financial support for mobility in programme countries (KA131) in the academic year 2022/2023 amounts to 112 to 144 euros per day depending on the cost of living in the host country, and 180 euros per day for partner countries (KA107/171/international opening). Travel costs are reimbursed in flat rates depending on the distance of the destination. The amounts of financial support for individual projects and destinations, as well as an explanation of the calculation of travel costs, can be found here, and the European Commission calculator for calculating the distance of the destination can be found here. Due to possible increased costs when implementing a mobility period, employees with disabilities are entitled to an increased amount of financial support in accordance with the special needs arising from their disability. Employees cannot receive financial support if their stay is financed in parallel from European Union funds.
