Professional practice

University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zaprešić is a higher education institution focused on professional and applicable knowledge. This is precisely why professional practice is a mandatory part of the teaching process for all students of undergraduate and graduate professional studies and specializations.

About professional practice

We want to introduce each student to the business of the organization, business processes and job tasks that correspond to the direction in which the student is studying, as well as to the application of acquired knowledge in practice

Professional practice models

University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zaprešić offers its students a total of two models of professional practice, which may differ in relation to the direction/study:

  1. Students can independently organize professional practice with an employer of their choice, or they can leave the organization of the professional practice entirely to Baltazar Polytechnic.
  2. Students can organize professional practice at an employer of their choice and attend field classes.
Where is professional practice carried out?

Students can choose the organization in which they want to do professional practice in Croatia or in one of the EU member states, or they can apply for practice in organizations with which the Polytechnic has entered into a cooperation agreement.

Professional practice in the European Union
University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zaprešić is the holder of the ERASMUS+ higher education charter. The Erasmus program includes all European and international programs and initiatives of the European Union in the field of education, training, youth and sports. One of the key activities of the Erasmus+ program is the mobility of individuals for learning and training. Thus, our students can do professional practice in almost all the countries of the European Union, with the subsidy of the University of Applied Sciences , and acquire special knowledge for the specific requirements of the labor market of the countries of the European Union.
