Library has the task of being a stable support to the teaching process, monitoring the information needs of its users and presenting, where necessary, their requests to the administrative bodies of the Polytechnic so that the desired goals of expanding and improving library services can be achieved in the desired time frame and in an appropriate manner through a synergistic approach.
Tasks Libraries poslovi su koji se odnose na planiranje, nabavu, stručnu obradu davanje na korištenje, čuvanje i zaštitu raznolike knjižnične građe; rad s korisnicima i odgovarajuća prilagodba njihovim informacijskim zahtjevima; stalno stručno usavršavanje knjižničnog osoblja; briga za stvaranje potrebnih uvjeta za učenje i nesmetan rad u čitaonici; cjelokupna organizacija rada u knjižnici te stvaranje i održavanje kvalitetne i poticajne komunikacije i suradnje s korisnicima knjižnice, drugim organizacijskim jedinicama Veleučilišta, upravnim tijelima te ostalim visokoškolskim knjižnicama, Nacionalnom i sveučilišnom knjižnicom u Zagrebu, ostalim knjižnicama, Ministarstvom znanosti i obrazovanja, Ministarstvom kulture i medija, Agencijom za znanost i visoko obrazovanje, inozemnim knjižnicama, nakladničkim kućama, knjižarama, obrazovnim i kulturnim ustanovama kao i svim vrstama medija.
